Tutorbridge is a free matching service for families and adult students. We help you find independent local or online tutors.

We are not a tutoring company, school, learning center, or licensed education provider. We do not teach lessons, employ tutors, set their prices, grade students, or grant certificates or credentials.

This matters for privacy because we only collect the basic information needed to connect you with a participating tutor or tutoring provider.

What information we collect

We keep our forms simple. In general, we collect:

• the subject or type of help you are looking for

• your phone number
• your email address
• basic scheduling or location preferences you choose to share

We do not ask for Social Security numbers, student ID numbers, school records, report cards, grades, IEP or 504 documents, immigration documents, or bank or financial account numbers.

If you contact us directly, you may choose to share extra details in your message. Please do not send sensitive documents or private records through our forms unless we specifically ask for something basic that helps with a match.

If you are asking about a minor, please submit the request as the parent or guardian whenever possible.

How we use your information

We use the information you share to respond to your request and connect you with a tutor or tutoring provider who may be a fit for your needs.

That can include:

• sharing your request details with participating tutors or providers

Tutorbridge is free for families. We are paid a flat marketing or matching fee by participating tutors or providers. That does not change the fact that results vary and we cannot promise grades, scores, admission, fluency, or any other outcome.

Who we share information with

We share your information only as needed to help with your request. That may include participating independent tutors, tutoring providers, or service companies that help us operate our website, email, or forms.

We do not sell your sensitive student records because we do not collect them in the first place. We also do not need school files, immigration papers, or financial account details to make a tutoring match.

If required by law, court order, or a valid legal process, we may disclose information as necessary. We may also share limited information if needed to protect safety, investigate abuse of our services, or defend legal rights.

Before working with any tutor, parents should confirm the tutor's background check, references, and qualifications. For minors, we strongly encourage supervision, such as meeting in a public room, staying nearby, or using a visible or recorded online setup.

Your choices and your rights

You can choose not to submit a request. If you do submit one, please share only the basic details needed for us to respond.

If you no longer want to hear from us, you can ask us to stop contacting you. You can also tell a tutor or provider directly if you do not want to continue the conversation.

Children, safety, and sensitive situations

Tutorbridge is meant to help parents, guardians, and adult students look for academic support. We ask families not to send private student files, medical details, special-education records, or legal or immigration documents through our forms.
